The Space market is still largely an institutional market, for both civil and Defense applications. Thales Alenia Space's customer portfolio reflects that, with over two thirds of our activities dedicated to those markets, all over the World.

The first that come to mind on that market are national or regional Space Agencies, as well as Defense procurement Agencies.
Thales Alenia Space's customers include of course the national agencies of its home countries (CNES, ASI) or region (ESA), as well as national or regional Defense agencies.
But Thales Alenia Space is also proud to serve other countries national civil or Defense Space Agencies, such as Germany, South Korea, ...

There are also other institutional users of Space, that can be potential customers for Thales Alenia Space competencies and solutions.
These include a.o. Meteorology, Oceanography, Time & Frequency, Transport (Aeronautical, Train, Road or Maritime), Science institutions, as well as Defense users of Space solutions, such as the different Armies.
