Intelligence networks
Thales has invested more than €60m in a new research centre on the École Polytechnique campus near Paris, confirming the paramount importance of research and innovation for the company and taking its policy of technology partnerships to a new level. The state-of-the-art facility is located at the heart of a scientific ecosystem including the Digiteo Labs and Triangle de la Physique advanced research networks and the System@tic competitiveness cluster, of which Thales is a founder member. Designed for up to 550 researchers - 300 from Thales and 250 doctoral students and research partners - the new centre is currently focusing on large-scale software engineering techniques and embedded intelligence for critical information systems.
